Our Passion for Photography
I have been fascinated with taking pictures ever since i was in elementary school. A school project using a out meal container and making a pin hole camera. That started the wheels turning in my head and the desire to capture moments. I lost interest and it wasn’t until high school that i began to pick it back up. After high school i started taking lots of pictures of all kinds of subject matter. Of course using film back then was expensive to develop and time consuming.
Enter the digital age and Bam, the possibilities ans amount of pictures I could take just exploded. No longer bound by the financial burden of film development I took pictures of everything. I soon started to actually get better at taking pictures even though I didn’t understand much of the basic principles of photography. I was just creative and found what worked for me. I was asked by a manager of a California rock band to shoot for them at several Hollywood strip music venues. That lasted for a short time as the reward for the pictures didn’t out way my lack of sleep.
Move forward to the last three years when I started to take my photography seriously. I invested in new and better gear as I did my pictures improved as did my technique and eye for photo opportunity. Wildlife and landscape photography is what drives me currently, but there are times when portrait photography captures my attention. I am always looking for things, places, and people that speak to me as I try to capture what I see. Please feel free to wander around my site to see what speaks to you.
